Im curently a mature self-representing artist graduated with a BA(Hons)in Fine Art. My work to date aims to demonstrate the complexities of materials and processes which were initially informed by studies in response to natural phenomena. From this exploration into a non-referential approach is used with a mixed media in accordance to chance techniques. The concepts behind my processes concern moments of fluid colour which collide through contrasting transient compositions by tilting the surface of the canvas. The fluid results of other contrasting colours appear through the amalgamation of primary & secondary colours. The characteristic effect’s of fluid manipulation present many individual effects based on technical processes. What is another innovative process to my evolving development is the distinctive surface appearance of a unified smooth layer which is evident once a piece is completely dry.

I have varied interests from painting, photgraphy,evolutionary science, natural phenomena, geology, astronomy,ect..ect, which all inform my abstract painting development.
