Recently graduated with First Class Honours in Fine Art - My work revolves around the utilisation of discarded anonymous photographs as initial sources, which are then taken and brought about in paint. The isolation of the figures and loss of the intrinsic value of the photograph itself, are of paramount importance to my practice. The individuals depicted are both relatable and yet disconnected from our conscience, forever locked in a static prison and its this sense of transience I strive to impart in the work itself.
